Self assured, bossy, too smart for his own good, and as sweet as he can be, Yaar-Jan stepped into our lives and immediately filled some big paw prints left by the loss of his uncle Frank.

Of course he was the cutest puppy ever – just like they all are! His first two years proved out the potential we saw in the baby. What we could not have known before he came to live with us was the force of personality contained in that handsome package. Young Yaar-Jan, through two years old.

The adult Yaar-Jan continues to be a delight to live with, although his days of running with others in lure coursing and racing has come to an end. Yes, the dreaded interested in the other boys running struck and we put an end to that before it became a problem, so Singles only for him now. He spends his time at home giving the best cuddles, keeping the place as squirrel free as possible, and making sure his “little” buddy Gary understands his place in life.
